some people couldn't be more annoying if they tried

Playing Halo: Reach with one of my good friends, who says they have friends that want to join us. Okay, whatever. Two more people join us and from the very first second they're just incessantly talking about crap. We get into a game and they keep talking! Not communicating in-game (ie location of the enemy), just talking and arguing with each other about inane crap.

First game, they go -19 between the 2 of them. My friend tells these two that they should cut down on the chatter and start shooting people. So what do they do, they start shooting randomly. I spawn next to them, they're both shooting in different directions, I'm trying to look around to see what they're shooting at, and they're not shooting at anything, they're just shooting. So we tell them to stop that and they say "well you said to start shooting" and my friend clarifies, "no, I said to start shooting people". They keep shooting randomly, I'm like, "why don't you just tell them where we are?" and one of them goes, "we're in party chat, they can't hear us, duh". Like, I can't roll my eyes enough. We lose by 2 measly points. Between the two of them they're minus -14. Like are you fricking kidding me.

So I left the group and re-invited my original friend back to a party with just the 2 of us.

If you don't want to actually play the game and just chat, then sit on your fricking xbox dashboard or the main menu of the game and chat with each other, away from people who actually want to play a game and concentrate on the actual gameplay.

I put up with enough crap from stupid randoms, I'm definitely not going to put up with it from friends of friends.
